You know that saying "if you have to ask the price etc." - I think
that is very true of any roaming related issue.
>Im with O2.
It is possible that the charge could vary by talk plan.

Even if you did get though, you are nlikely to be given the correct
answer.

Given the minefield that roaming charges are - if you have any doubt
whether you can afford to use roaming - don't. Use a payphone and
pre-paid calling card.
I think he means it's expensive.
I missed the first post but you should be able to find the roaming price on
your telcos website, or even oftel?

I'm not just a number. To many, I'm known as a string...

Yes - basically.

I wish it were that easy. It can vary by talk plan, by network - even
Orange, that has good on-line pricing seemed to have disclaimers to
the effect that overseas networks might levy an additional fee (but
without specifying it).
25 p per txt
At least thats what I paid. I signed up for their ICT (??) service
which cost 3 quid a month (or less pro-rata) and cut the price of calls
/ texts. Likely to do the same when going to Italy soon.
They also advised me to turn off voicemail as it was really expensive to
use and seemed to cost even if someone left a message and you didn't
actually read it abroad.
