Motorola V600 Issues

Got a V600 last week on Orange and am generally been quite pleased with it.
The only downside has been the battery life. Can anyone offer any opinions
on how long the battery should last after a full charge.
Is there a deciated V600 site/group somewhere?
Anyone know how to change/turn off the startup and shutdown sounds?

alt.cellular.motorola or http://www.howardforums.com is your place. I get
around 5 days with mine, but I bluetooth and use GPRS a fair bit so that
drains it alot. Try turning down your brightness levels in 'Initial setup'
and turn 'battery saver' on. Also, make sure your bluetooth is off if you
are not usuing it. It will take up to 5 charge/discharge cycles before you
get full capacity. I drained by battery fully 5 times and after that there
was a noticable improvement in battery life.

You mean the little blips? Sorry, no idea....try howardforums, altho they
may suggest a flex/firmware update!
