I will not be going anywhere near it until I hear a lot of positive
feedback.
Anyone risking it should back up their phone and their PC. Better still
use an old disposable PC or laptop.
I like my N86 but am fed up with Nokia/Ovi trashing everything it gets near.

I don't know why Nokia cancelled the Audiobooks project. That was
actually something useful that worked well. I still hold on to the old
installation files so I can use them on new phones.

I love the compression, a 34MB mp3 into a 16MB abw (I think)
that saves a lot of space. and the conversion was done in a jiffy.

Same here, which is why I mentioned it.

Interesting comments Brian and the Invisible man.
I'm a new Nokia user. (Nokia e71)

Ovi wouldn't connect tonight.

I've never heard about it.

Is it dangerous?

I won't EVER trust Ovi. Their software was/is useless, in my experiance, and
others have reportedly lost important information from their phone while
using it.

I reported that it wouldn't log me into their system as it didn't recognise
my password and their front-line user support referred my request for help
to an "expert" who never got back to me so I uninstalled their whole pile of
crap from my phone.

Install/use it if you dare.
