I am also thinking of getting a Li-Ion battery. Are there
advantages/disadvantages?
Would the equivalent Mah rated battery be slimmer than the NiMh ? I
am keen to keep the excellent standby time I get with the phone today.
I think its rated at 900MAh - certainly the ones we offer (both NiMH
and Li-Ion) are rated at this, so I'm assuming its the standard
capacity (price e-mailed separately).

The Li-Ion battery would be lighter and have better talk/standby
times. Also, Li-Ion batteries can be charged at any time (without
first having to run them down) and do not suffer from the so-called
"memory effect".

See above.
