Here's a strange one. I have a Huawei p8Lite (2017) which is my normal
phone, and a Moto G8(Power) which I will one day start using. The P8 is
Android 7, the G8 is Android 10.

I have a pair of cheap wireless earpieces. I have read somewhere that
the first earpiece switched on will be the left channel.

If I use the Moto and hold the left earpiece button for 6 seconds it
says 'power on'' and a few seconds later it says 'pairing' (with the
phone) which is successful. If I then press and hold the right earpiece
switch for about 3 seconds it says 'power on' and then I get 'left' and
'right' from the correct earpieces and everything works.

If I repeat the above process with the Huawei the left earpiece will
'power on' and 'pairing' but does not pair. If I power on the right
earpiece first the sequence described above works and all connects
correctly BUT the channels are reversed.

In summary:
if the left channel tries to pair with the Huawei it will not succeed,
but if the right channel tries to pair it works but the stereo is reversed.
if the right channel tries to pair with the Moto it will not succeed,
but if the left channel tries to pair it does so and the stereo is the
correct way round.

Er, anyone got any ideas?
