I am trying to set up this is to my skype account. When you dial the
number do you wait until you here a voice asking for the extension
number?
When I try the hash key I get through to a normal number and someone
says 'hello'- once it was a boy voice it sounded like someones house!!!
When I don't put the harsh in the number doesn't do anything.
The London number gets a message saying the number is out of order. And
the Manchester does not do anything?? -no ring then eventually it does
ring but then stops.
Any one else having problems?

01618840148 gives an iambic engaged tone from T-Mobile, network busy from Vodafone,
and "<3 ascending tones> Sorry there is a fault" from BT
It's a useful service , I hope they sort it out.

I emailed them yesterday and they didnt seem to know there was a problem. I
get the error on the London Number.
Yes everyone.
Not a service to be trusted it seems.
seems to be back up now
The number is back up, but it wont make my skypephone ring. It says 'we
have not been able to connect your call at this time, please try later'...
Yes it was already set up and working until the last few days. If they cant
provide a reliable service, why bother trying to provide a service at all?
I have dumped it now, I cant be giving a number out to people that doesn't
work.
Its OK for playing with, but it just makes you look stupid when the number
you give out to people is failing to connect all the time.
My advice is steer clear, unless they get their finger out and make it work
properly.
A number that only connects occasionally is useless........
It might be Skype itself that's faulty. Today I tried using my S2 and
Skype to call various contacts - but for each one I got a message from
a female about not being able to contact or connect to him/her. CJB.
That could also be 3 network, or S2 or combination of the two as on my S2 I
could not log into Skype for the whole day, although wife on hers could
and my Skype account on PC worked OK.

Just registered with them. The response was:
"Your registration was successfully proccessed. We send you an email
with the necessary information to use and manage your free number."
Interesting spelling of "proccessed", and what about the missing
adverb "We [will] send ..."
So my suspicions are arounsed as to whether this really is a kosher
service. Certainly not one to entrust a credit card with. And since
they are harvesting 'live' Skype ids with associated email addresses I
suppose that we'll get increased amounts of spam. Already I get almost
daily spam messages on Skype - even though I block the sender of every
one received.

These folk state"RING2SKYPE is a free service which is supported by
your collaborations and help. If you can please promote this service
among your friends and within blogs, twitters or any way you believe
it could help some other people. Thank you in advance on behalf of
people like you that will do good use of this service."
Their FAQ is equally obscure. So HOW do they make money?
