Hi,

I am with T-Mobile on pay-as-you-go tarif. I need to upgrade my phone
without paying the ripp-off prices in UK(for pay-as-you-go customers).

1. I was wondeing whether I could buy simless phone from other
European countries that will be compatible with T-mobile?

2. Does anyone know any websites(e.g. from Holland and etc.) that I
can use to place my order for the above?

Thanks,
Sandiyan

Why you want to stay with T-Mobile PAYG is beyond me but....

Get a FT 750 contract and free phone - soem excellent deals at the moment
with loads of free line rental (missed the CPW £10 for a 3310 and years
contract offer). Plus you get 50 texts and 750 off peak mins to use.

Or.... a Virgin Mobile, might be some good offers on I don't know.

Most Virgin Mobile phones are GID1 locked to Virgin Sims,
you would have to get the unlock code from Virgin in exchange for a 30quid top
up

Thanks for the replys.
I am currently paying less than £3 a month for PAYG.

As long as I can carry my current phone number and pay not more than
£3-5/month I do not mond which mobile service I am with...

As my usage is very minimal , I think PAYG is best suited ???

What are my options...?

Thanks,
Sandiyan

Virgin give you £35 credit if you buy a 3310, 3410, or 5210.

You can port your number across, Virgin's website has a how to switch to
us thing. http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/switch/switch_keep_no.html

Or you could top up with £30 more, ask for the unlock code, unlock the
phone, keep the T-Mobile SIM for incoming calls and use the Virgin SIM
for outgoing calls until it runs out. Might be useful if everyone you
know is on T-Mobile.

Someone on this NG has recently indicated that the free credit counts
towards your £30 minimum b4 unlocking code is given for free so the OP
may not even need to top up b4 unlocking and walking althogh he/she may
prefer to use the credit first or sell the SIM with credit for as much
as he/she can get.

Laurence.
