I've just got my Orange phone this morning, and I have registered it on the
Orange site, and had the verfication code sent to my phone, and choosen my
password through the site, but I can't logon, I go to the sign in page and
it signs in fine with my mobile number and password, but if I then select
the your account area after logging in, it asks me to confirm my password,
which I do and it accepts, however I them are redirected to a page saying
this:

You have not yet signed-on.

In order to use the feature you have requested you must first sign on on the
Orange Internet home page.

But I am signed on, and I can access all other areas of the Orange site
including email, free texting etc, but cannot access your account, so I
can't view my minutes remaining, texts remaning and billing info etc,
anybody got any ideas why this is, and if so who to contact?

Thanks

Justin

Just so you know, I can access Your Account area fine.

Must be a problem with the account setup at oranges end.

Call 150 and speak to them.

Cheers

Called them, they first of all blamed my browser saying that it's a cookie
problem, ignoring the fact I could access every part of the stuff thats
needed to logon for like texting and email etc, but not get your account to
come up without the problem.

Then they said that I have to register for a Your Account username and
password thats seperate to the one I use to sign in to the Orange Website
for text and email, but said unless your browser is functioning properly, it
won't work.

Well just to test this, I used a friends Orange details, and got in straight
away without any problems, but still could not access the my account area
for my number, of which Orange refused to take the blame for.

I then called up Customer services to make a complaint, who said it's
because there is a problem with the Orange website and it's generally
unreliable and I should use the customer services number to check how many
minutes I have, although it doesn't seem to be real time as the last update
was Midnight on Monday, I then argued it was besides the point as I want to
access all my details online, and they told me to give them a few days to
see if anyone spots anything to sort it out.

All In all, a total waste of time and money calling the internet helpdesk,
they clearly were clueless.

The Orange "PAYG" registration area is also listed as "Service is
currently unavailable".

You are given the option of trying again or contacting customer
services, this has been like this for days.

As I use Zonealarm I tried disabling the program to see if I could gain
access to the Registration area of the Orange site but it made no
difference.
