Remember when BT were found guilty of "port throttling" well what do
you think PlusNet Technologies Limited is doing?

Exactly the above - they know about it and are aware of it... If
anyone would like to take this further, email me will give you all the
name of the people involved - even including Mr Wyse,

Like to say well done to that group of companies - lets hope Insight
Inc, pull the plug on your arse!

Good Morning,

First allow me to point out that this is not a posting from the MD of
PlusNet.

I will be posting a full response to this later, once I have clarified
a few points.

Kind Regards

Duncan

Totally agree with all points made by Lee Strafford.....

I would just like to say that I have 2 adsl connections one with Plusnet
2meg and another with BT Openworld 512k

At the moment the BT Openworld connection leaves the Plusnet 2 Meg
connection standing the throughput I get with plusnet is so bad I may as
well just revert all my equipment back to the openworld connection......

Also Lee email me all the information you have as I would love to be able to
take this further after all I am paying £146 pm for this shoddy unusable
service.........

I couldn't even play a game of medal of honor last night I kept getting slow
server flashing at the bottom of the screen :( loads of lag and a ping of
over 300) what the hell is the point in having a 2 meg connection if I
cannot even use the damn thing?????????

But guess what I plugged in my BT Openworld green frog and hey presto pings
of 30 to 40 NO LAG and a great game on the same server I was trying with
PLUSNET....... bloody awful why the hell should we the customers be treated
this way????????????????

I think the TRADE DESCRIPTION ACT must come in to play somewhere hmmm let me
think.........

Apart from posting to point out the obvious, that the posting was a hoax.

I can confirm that we have not implemented any traffic management on our
ADSL service beyond what has already been announced to our customer base
and in public forums.

Alistair.

Yeah because Mr "Pie Eater" Strafford is too scared to come in here?

Now regards to Mr Wyses posting, check this thread
news:7abtaus1ju7fs94c4...@4ax.com

See what we mean - you are doing it because you have too many people
on your small PIPE,
and plusnet if you want to take this legal let me know - would be good
to see Mr Singh again.

but do you have any concrete evidence, dont see why they would do this.
I never had any problems leeching from GigaNews when I was on them.

I got 50,000 cps from a 512kbps connection last night (connecting to
news.cis.dfn.de). Is that throttled?

Only today has the Force 9 news feeds returned to normal speeds, they
took downturn for the worse a few weeks back.
