I've been with AOL on their silver package for years - 2Mb/s download
and 256Kb/s upload come rain or shine.
However i noticed earlier that a torrent i was seeding seemed to be
uploading faster than 256Kb/s.
So i ran a speed test at thinkbroadband.com and it told me i was
getting over 5Mb/s download and 0.4Mb/s upload!
I've had no emails or letters through from AOL telling me to expect an
upgrade so was just wondering what's happened.
I had a look on the AOL website but could find nothing relevant.
Also nothing mentioned on the thinkbroadband.com forums.
Has anyone else been unexpectedly upgraded on AOL?
Martin.

Looks like they have moved you from fixed rate to rate-adaptive ADSL.
Possibly moved you over to their own LLU kit someone in the know will
probably be along in a moment.
