Anyone here with Tiscali and have not been billed yet? We've been with them
since for about 8 months now and we still have not been billed. I hope
they've lost the paperwork, we're getting free ADSL. Anyone have any
experience with Tiscali who did not bill them for several months then later
got billed? I just wanna know so I can expect a bill on not.

Tiscali/WorldOnline billed me for £200-odd in one go after
it seemed they hadn't been taking direct debits from me for
a few months. It was only when I got a bank statement I
noticed.

Then, they totally cut me off soon after that, despite me being
(I thought) a good customer since the days of Screaming.net.
Oh well, it was probably a blessing in disguise as I then signed
up to BTOpenworld and have been happy with them since.

I had the same with Nildram. They only realised when I called to cancel the
line.

I would becareful with this outfit
I went with them as localtel and provived all details to them for billing.
When I changed ISP they sent a debt collector saying I had never paid a
penny. Very bad at billing but quick to call you a non payer. Send your
payment directly to them by registered post to avoid the same hassle I had.
Which took 3 months to resolve!!

Freeserve did a similar thing to me. I noticed 2 (supposedly) monthly DD
payments 4 days apart and rang up to query them. It turns out they were
taking each payment 40 days apart by mistake and it took a while for their
accounts department to realise I was in arrears.
