The roads in my area are being dug up, with some roads closed for
weeks, to put in CityFibre. They dig a channel across the road,
partly fill it, and then leave it for days. I couldn't even walk down
one road yesterday. It's utterly pointless, since we already have
fibre available from the telephone poles, which didn't cause any
disruption. It's like putting down multiple electricty cables for
different companies. I certainly won't be using them.
