As sent to BT...
Customer Comments :

As your public statements on the subject are few and far between... Can you
confirm or deny that that you are not ADSL enabling anymore exchanges until
you get a greater takeup on the already enabled ones? I am extremely keen to
get broadband, but my exchange is not enabled. Though apparently the
exchange that serves the other side of Worcester is. If you are intending to
rollout to more exchanges then could you at least have somewhere on your
site that lists those expected to be done and when. A coloured map in the
Openworld section hardly constitutes rollout information.

Their helpful response...

Thank you for your email regarding BT Openworld's ADSL service.

Unfortunately at the moment, it is not possible to answer your query via

email. However, answers to many of the most popular queries can be

found on the BT Openworld Broadband web site at

www.btopenworld.com/broadband under the section on 'help'.

You can also now order BT Openworld services via this web site, as well

as check for availability of the service in your area.

If you should require further assistance, please do not hesitate to

contact the Sales Assistance team on free-phone 0800 169 6922. This

office is available any time between 8.00am and 22.00pm Monday to

Saturday.

Please note ADSL services are available from other suppliers, and

details of these can be found on the web site www.bt.com/broadband

I hope this information has been useful to you. Please do not hesitate

to get back to me should you need any further assistance.

Merry Xmas

Yours sincerely,

Wrong part of BT. BTOpenworld just sell ADSL not install it.

Now what would happen if everybody who read this group filled in
that survey a few times...?

Indeed.

It also allows blank entries, i.e. you don't have to write anything
and it still says:

"You have now completed the survey.
"Thank you for your time
"Your comments are valued and will be useful in
improving the service that you receive from BT"

This was sent to BT, not Openworld. Openworld had already told me to go to
BT themselves...

So, Openworld fobbed me off to BT and then Bt refused to answer my
question...
