I am in the process of moving from Tiscali to TalkTalk for my broadband
connection. I want to retain the ability to read my Tiscali emails, at least
in the short term. Will I lose that on the transfer? I would downgrade to
dial up pay as you go with Tiscali but I don't want to interfere at this
stage and lose broadband before the move completes. That could spell
disaster I feel. Presumably if the account closes I won't be able to
immediately re-join as a PASYG under the same name as it will be unavailable
for some time. Any advice much appreciated.

why change from one bad isp to another?
http://www.dslzoneuk.net/isp_ratings.php for ratings of uk isps, tiscali
40/40...talktalk 37/40. be aware you usually get what you pay for!

you will still be able to read & reply to your Tiscali emails by using the
webmail on their site.

I transfered from Freenet to TalkTalk several years back and I still
use Freenet for my emails on POP3 and webmail with no problems, though
it may not be the same for all ISP's.
