There are several instal charges ranging from:

£0.00 (self instal)

to

£100 (Barron McCann will attend your property and install the
ethernet card in your computer. They will then run an ethernet cable
to a point near your computer. Finally, they will guide you through the
registration process and give you a brief training session on how to
use the service)

Own your own stand alone cable modem, which can be bought for
approx. £150, but ex cwc subscribers don't have the option
of an external modem, only via the digital stb.

> or 3) £25.00 to rent it from ntl.

£25 to rent a stand alone cable modem from ntl (not for ex cwc)

or

£25 to use the service via the stb (ex cwc only)

so no external cable modem is offered for rental or purchase.

to ntl broadband internet.

Your will need an ethernet card and cable.

A self-installation pack or assistance with the installation is
