Domain Name registration

This might sound off topic but I am looking for a cheap domain name
registration service (to register a .co.uk dn) and then I would like to use
my adsl enabled Pc as a web server.

Any guideline on what is required ?

I personaly use www.easily.co.uk £9.99 for 2 years registration. Then just
point the name to your IP address.

Or sign up with plusnet, and get one for nothing if you get brodband off
them.

Cheap, efficient, full featured. And you can talk to them on the phone
if your get problems.
(Cheap = £6.79 per 2 years for .uk names)

www.123-reg.co.uk I registerd mine. .co.uk, £6.79 IIRC and all fully
distributed to all the DNS servers in about 48 hours max (PIPEX woke up and
smelt the electrons in about 24Hrs)

All easily done too, SSL, nice and helpful too. :)

I would recomend something like www.d2g.com then www.analogx.com for the
second "domain" name for free with suport for non-static IP's and analogx
for a free and simple webserver.
