I am with Nildram. I like the idea of having my own Static IP address, and
Nildram is also good as it provides the Jolt servers, so if you are into
gaming, you will have low latency.

Using Nildram here since February, I''ve personally had zero down-time and
very fast (touching large piece of wood as I type!)

NOTE: Return E-mail address is a spam-trap and does not get read!
I'm also considering the following...
Plusnet's 22.99 inc option includes static IP option
Nildram's static IP address option is 22.99 inc
Eclipse's 22.75 +vat option MAY include a static IP but the website isn't
clear on this.
Zen's 25.52 + vat static IP option is the most expensive of the above.
Activation charges are all between 50 - 58.75 + vat

I'm also with Nildram, ~3 weeks, can't fault it so far (hanging onto
other end of *large piece of wood*!!!) Painless and reasonably fast
signup, was connected before the official start date - less than 7
days. Was sent all info required to get online, by post, well in
advance of the start date.
Had a couple of problems with slow newsgroups at first, but sorted
that by re-installing agent and changed server name from
news.nildram.co.uk to corp.supernews.com and checked the box
[ ] Server Creates messages out of order
Now Agent connects and dl's msg bodies in the blink of any eye.
Also getting great pings for gaming on most servers, not just jolt.
Every time I catch site of my old 56K PCI modem (still installed as
backup - hopefully never to be used again) I wonder how I survived for
so long without ADSL.
Was a mouse click away from jumping aboard Pipex's apparently
overcrowded freight train, and I'm really glad I panicked and hit the
cancel button. ;o)
Hope this helps.

BTW I'm fairly sure that Nildram doesn't offer a static IP for
22.99pcm. That is what I pay and I have a dynamic IP.
Also, if you've no intentions on running a public server, then there's
no real reason to go for a static IP.

Apologies, it is dynamic. The static option is 29.99 incl.

Seconded ;-)

Nildram
You get five static with ZEN for the same price .
Tim .
To be honest I don't really need one, though it would be useful on
ocassions.
Zen is too much ŁŁ for me, so I am really coming down between Plusnet (I
DO like the fact that their support staff are brave enough to post on
here) and Nildram whose users seem to praise them highly on here and on
adslguide.

I was in a job interview and I opened a book and started reading. Then
I said to the guy, "Let me ask you a question. If you are in a
spaceship that is traveling at the speed of light, and you turn on the
headlights, does anything happen?" He said, "I don't know." I said,
"I don't want your job."

Hi Brett ;-)
