BT Openworld anywhere,

Just seen the advert for BT Openworld, they can get fast internet access
anywhere... on a boat in the middle of the ocean using email, SO WHY CANT
I GET IT AT MY HOUSE,

Kev living in the area with an exchange that may be converted by
2010.......

I haven't seen the advery (where was it?) but perhaps they meant
http://www.btopenworld.com/satellite/ ?

Yup, I got the blurb amd its a sat service. with no landline return
path..
nice.. but 'kin expensive about a grand to buy/install and then
£60+vat a month. (minimum of a year) for the 500K service with no
commitments about oversubscription/use on the sat.. so same old
problems possibly like the other sat providers that have come and
gone..
