I registered a co.uk doman name on the 10th January 2000.
I have not paid a renewal but as i still have the domain name obviously this
must have been renewed this year.

Is there a way to see online the exact expiry date of.co.uk names?

I looked up my name on easily and it gave me:

xxxxx.co.uk
Registered on: 10-Jan-2000
Last updated: 28-Jul-2001
WHOIS database last updated at 10:40:01 24-Dec-2002

I was looking for a site that would tell me the name had actually been
renewed on the 10 Jan 2002 and next expires 2004 ???

Why get into contact with the company that you Registered
your Domain from and ask them about it? I recommend sending
them a email asking them to tell you when it expires.

What about contacting the company you bought the domain from?

Andrew.

They rarely answer emails and theyre now closed for xmas. I also wanted to
make sure
the info i was given was correct therefore check it myself. I didnt want
to email nominet either
just find a site to look it up on.

No offence but a response "why not contact the company you bought it from"
is a bit unhelpful,
i obviously wanted a website to look it up myself

If you don't want to contact the firm your domain is delegated to then
all you can do is try to check with Nominet.

Have you checked your domain status via the whois on www.nominet.org.uk?
That will give the definitive information on where the domain is
delegated to and the date of last update. From experience Nominet are
*very* efficient at detagging domains where the tag owner has refused
to pay (because you haven't paid them) though they do allow some leeway
in the unusual case where you're paying direct.

Simple answer. No. Nominet(UK) deliberately don't publish the dates to prevent
people jumping on other peoples domains.
