ZenADSL Single-user USB 512Kbps seems the same price as the rest (£150
installation + £50 a month), but claim to offer a static IP address. And
they claim their prices will be dropping in a few weeks time.

Anyone got any comments on how good they are as a provider?

Just to clear something up, Zen charge £176.25 for installation and from
September 1st it will be just over £50 a month for their service (including
VAT. Previously it was around £58). As a provider, they have a good
reputation and one of the better support teams. Read the Zen comments form
on http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk for an idea of what their customers think.

In what way is it crappy, please tell.
Has it a bad selection, or slow, or no binaries etc.
I was looking at going with Zen, but just want to know
about their newsfeeds too.
Thanks,.....

Ooooohhhh, looks good.
I really only want a decent selection of text groups, so it looks fine, as I
dont need binaries.
I dont want to pay for ADSL and not get news groups bundled with it.
If I can get em at present for less than a tenner a month Im not spending
the adsl monthly cost then having to pay more to get newsfeeds somewhere
else.

I'm just counting my lucky stars now that I didnt go with dazzlefish,
as It looks as though someone forgot to change their water and they
may have gone belly up.
So thanks again......
