so what's that supposed to tell me then???? (Clue: I'm on a BT Line, gave
it a postcode as well & every exchange in the surrounding area has already
been upgraded except the one we are on.)

Indeed - it's broke. I get the same message as you and I've had ADSL
for 2 months!!!!!

which was OK 'til last week. Anyway, it's fixed now...good luck!

I got this as well. I simply cannot believe BT cannot find out an
exchange from the number and postcode. It beggars belief!!!
