My BT Broadband here in the Highlands has been faulty since the 30th, BT
"Service status across the UK" was showing today (3rd) as date when a
fault affecting the exchange would be cleared but today my fault is
still open though they have removed the exchange from the list on
"Service status across the UK".

The Details of my fault has a block diagram showing "Retail Server" in red.

There did seem to be a lot of exchanges in the West of Scotland listed
the other day but you seem to see different places listed on different
lists!

I have a Home Hub 6, much of the time the Blue Light has been on and it
would even connect on WiFi but no Internet there.

I tried my Home Hub 5 on the 30th and it was similar.

On the 30th my TP Link router would not connect either.

I think it was on the 1st that I found my TP Link router would connect
but the BT Vision YouView box was not working.

I checked the Hub 6 settings and found it showed a software update on
the 30th. Also the SSID was same on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHx though I had
previously had separate SSIDs.

This continued through the 2nd - I left the Hub 6 connected when not
using the PC or when going out.

I connected the Hub 6 before going to bed and a bit later had a look at
my mobile phone, I noticed it had made a connection so went back through
and tried the BT Vision YouView box and found it was working OK.

When I got up this morning, the BT Vision had stopped working again and
Hub 6 not connecting to the Internet.

All very frustrating! I will report the fault again tomorrow morning.

Incidentally one side effect has been that when the Hub 6 is left
connected to the TV set, PVRs, YouView and even PCs these all are very
sluggish and even freeze at times.
