Reading in news:c.l.j :
A Belgian has asked how to put a "." in the number 145236 EUR to get
145.236 EUR ; and ISTM that there is a risk that this may be read, by
Anglos, as a hundred and forty-five Euros plus a bit. Presumably he
means over a hundred thousand Euros.
Are there relevant standards for [not] separating the Euro numbers, and
are they Anglo-compatible?
