My Sky Broadband is due to be sorted at the BT exchange on Wednesday. I've
got my broadband router and I've installed wireless cards in the PCs in the
house. The PCs can all see the router home page fine, and the signal is
excellent, which is good considering the router is downstairs in the hallway
and all the PCs in the house are upstairs or on the other side of the house
downstairs.

I've got the Sky CD that came with the rest of the kit, and want to know
whether I can avoid using that as I have a suspicion it will want to install
Sky branding all over the PCs. Do I just plug my sky username into the
details on the router?

You don't need the CD. You don't even need to enter your user name and p/w
into the router.

Thanks for that - especially about password. Makes it so much easier.
