Though I adore the vivacious print on the Kate Spade Japanese Floral Melinda Satchel, I’m not quite sure it translates that well on an everyday handbag. In fact, this bright bag looks more like a makeup bag than an actual purse. It’s a bit too boxy, and there’s a bit too much white space for my liking. I’d stash this with my cosmetics, hair, and skin goodies if I were hitting the road (it’s pretty spacious, so it would hold even the most ardent beauty junkie’s stash), but I’d steer clear of using it as a handbag.
