The Chronoswiss Company was established by Gerd R. Lang in 1983 with the factory located in Munich, Germany. All the watch components are produced in Switzerland, and you will notice 'Swiss Made' on the dial.
The Chronoswiss Régulateur with a hand-wound movement was launched in limited numbers by Chronoswiss in 1987, and nowadays, it is really difficult to find these watches on sale. In 1990 Chronoswiss decided to produce the Régulateur watch with an automatic movement.
Chronoswiss Régulateur Automatique features the movement known as C.122. The well-performing movement is excellently finished. The movement with the diameter of 26.8 mm comprises power reserve of 40 hours.
The silvered dial may seem to be white from some perspective. The logo and hour-markers are printed on the dial in a simple, yet classy and tasteful manner. The nice blued hands have been created to give a startling contrast with the dial, and the leather strap. The tip of the minute hand touches precisely the outer line of the minute markers. You will find all the information about the watch on the dial, even the caliber number.
The accurately crafted case of the watch somehow resembles a can of tuna fish. It measures 38mm in diameter with the carved bezel which adds to the timepiece's stylish appearance. The side of the case has a brushed finish which, as well as the sides of the lugs. The case is attached with a screwed pin to a leather strap or stainless steel bracelet.
The screwed case back has a mineral crystal, while the newer Régulateur models have been supplied with sapphire crystal.
There are some engravings between the lugs. One side features the reference number of the watch, the other side the production & serial number.
Chronoswiss ships its timepieces in a nice wooden box with a green inside part and the outer carton box.
The Chronoswiss Régulateur Automatique is distinctly a dress watch, which can also be worn in casual situations. You will notice the dial standing out, with the regulator lay-out.
