I bought a Manhattan Plaza HDR-S from John Lewis (but I can't see it on
their website today). Details are quickest to find on Amazon
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Manhattan-Plaza-HDR-S-Receiver-500GB/dp/B00JHAJNYI
though there are probably other sources of supply.

The box is reliable and absolutely silent (because there is no fan). To
utilise the dual tuners you need two distinct connections from your LNB.

Snags I have found are:
1) From power up from standby, it takes quite a while for the EPG to
fully populate.
2) If you use the Channel Up/Down on the remote, you MUST give the next
one time to appear on the screen before using the button again. If you
don't, then the picture from one channel gets accompanied by the sound
from a different one, and the only way to correct it is to switch the
mains off and back on.
3) The On Demand offers are only for BBC and ITV. No Channel 4 or
Channel 5 options are on the menu.

I have had mine for over a year and those are the only potential
problems I have found. They are easy enough to avoid.

what "faults" do you mean

It has some annoyances (actually a lot of annoyances) but nothing I could
describe as a fault

OMG, what on earth makes a box with only a 500GB disk cost 349 Great British
Pounds?

Amazon's expectation that they will be the first port of call. :-(

A quick hunt around finds one at nearly half that price

And I thought Amazon always gave the best prices

so good that I buy everything there, without a thought, including my weekly
food shopping

You still haven't pointed them out to me, as I can't find them.

I can't say mine is perfect - e.g. I had to restart it from cold yesterday
as it seems incapable of playing back from an external USB device whilst
making two recordings (and refused to recover itself), but I don't do that
(the playback from USB bit, I schedule two simultaneous recording
frequently) often enough that I can't just make sure in future that I am
using playback whilst not recording.
