Instructions on how to store these, and other troubleshooting tips are now
up at:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/dtt1.shtml
http://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/dtt2.shtml

BBC Channels will be as follows from 11/2/02:

1 BBC ONE
2 BBC TWO
7 BBC CHOICE (To be replaced by BBC THREE when approved. 7.00pm -
5.30am)
10 BBC FOUR (BBC KNOWLEDGE until 2/3/02. 7.00pm - 5.30am)
11 BBC NEWS 24
12 CBBC (5.30am - 7.00pm)
13 CBeebies (5.30am - 7.00pm)
17 BBCi
45 BBC Parliament (Audio)

NB: It appears from the info on the second page that the 5.30am and 7.00pm
times are when the program streams will be switched as it states that this
is when BBCi may be lost temporarily on some boxes. If you look at the new
CBeebies website:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/

It says that its programs will actually run 6am-7pm.

Don't know why they bothered with BBCi on 17 when you can get it by pressing
'Text' whilst on a BBC Channel anyway.....

Pressing text doesn't work when you have subtitles switched on. The only
ways to access BBCi are then either to switch to the BBCi channel or
turn off the subtitles.

Not that it should affect me much, but will viewers have to manually
change channel from CBBC to BBC CHOICE or CBeebies to BBC FOUR, or
will this happen automatically?

According to the Radio Times, when CBeebies finishes its transmissions, a
new channel doesn't appear "so there's no chance of tots straying into adult
programming".
So, I guess you have to select a different channel number for BBC 4.
