Has anyone else got this TV and managed to set the remote up ok?
(in case it makes any difference, it's an Amstrad Digibox).
Thanks,

There is a shortcut code for Sky remote controls to work on most Panasonic
TV's, but I can't remember it off-hand. I can check this week, but if
anyone here has a Panasonic Digibox, then it's in the instruction book with
that. (Remember, while not all digiboxes are the same, all remote controls
are).

One of these days, I'm going to rally around all the voices in my head to
get them to vote for me, and then I'll be president of my own mind.

We've got a Panasonic Prism A1 TX24 TV and the Sky Digital remote works
perfectly with it using the code in the book.
You need one of the subcodes though (the 3rd, I think. Sorry can't remember
exactly which.)

The manual for the Panasonic Digibox recommends using code 678 or 254 for a
Panasonic TV. Note that these are three digit codes and don't need an initial
"0".
Have you tried all of:
678,254,278,154,242,241,368,128,191,368,395,585
This was probably the list that Sky gave you. Since there are
12 codes there it may be that there are a couple you haven't
tried.

I'd like to check a couple of things -
- the person at Sky who gave me this code said to skip the "step 4" in
the instructions which is where you press the TV button again after
holding down the Select + red buttons simulataneously.
- are there subcodes for these three-digit codes? I tried cycling through
them (using the standby-tv-standby sequence) many times but never got to
a "triple-blink" indicating the end of the subcodes.
What do you think?
Sounds the same as mine (TX-24A1), I'm still having no luck with the
codes in the book or the ones Sky gave me. I'm starting to wonder if the
remote is faulty.
Remote isn't faulty. If you press TV on your Sky remote, you've got to use
your Pana TV remote to switch the TV back into non-AV mode, then you'll be
able to flick channels using the Sky remote again! The volume control on
the Sky remote will work for you, though.

Forgive me if it's already been said but the way to switch the remote to TV
mode FOR A PANASONIC TV is to press "TV" and then "help" on the remote, as
opposed to simply "TV". All the best
