Have they recently put up the strength of their transmitter, I never used
to be able to hear it down here in surrey.
Of course it could have been the French and local radio station shut downs
that has made it audible now.

Probably because 1368 kHz now has a clear run (at least in the UK)

Was used for BBC Sussex, Wilts, and Lincs. All gone now.

I think these practices just evolve by custom and practice. I used to
get asked by my boss for advice about spelling.

It's more to do with my selective memory. I can remember pointless Tx
facts from yonks ago, but not (apparently) being told to empty the
washing machine after breakfast

I decide for myself that I must put some washing on and then completely
forget to actually do it.

I decide to turn off the central heating to go out, then, a minute or
less later, can't remember whether I did, as the noise keeps on for a
few minutes.
