You should really be using an outdoor aerial for DTT, if possible. A
booster might be a waste of time.

Unfortunately, I am forced to use an indoor aerial even in a strong signal
area, and I can get a reception but I find it hard to get it consistent
across all channels.

Don't have time, cant be bother, hered it al l my life. Do what i want how i
like. Just to let you know. Ask uk.tech.rockerty and rich will tell you..

I have to use indoor as i live on a brand new easte and they have set a law
(yes they have) that you not allowed any outdoor aerials. Most people have atic
ones but my room is the atic.

OK - so long as you don't expect us to bother reading your posts.

With an attitude of you can't be bothered don't bother asking for any help
as no one can be bothered to answer !
Have not got Dyslexia, but feel it only common courtesy to use a
spellchecker and to read through if I am asking for help,Some (?) of the
grammar may be dodgy but at least everything is spelt right (even if I am
using an American dictionary).Note to self must get in touch with Vampire to
get the code to enable the British dictionary.

Can get some channels (notably the BBC ones) with an indoor aerial, even
more but not all using a loft aerial, seems I will have to "bite the bullet"
and have some form of external aerial fitted . This rule on your estate
.Can it be circumvented ? Screwfix sell "aerial holders" that clamp to
slates/tiles on your roof so no screws (with their attendant holes) are
needed can be mounted on either side of the roof (so they will not "break"
the skyline).
The sound/pixellate problem is probably because you are working on the
very limit of the boxes' power.first thing to go on a "digital" signal is
the sound then the pic' pixellates then there is nothing.Digital tends to be
all or nothing a fine pic' if all is as should be then nothing (no
in-between[unlike analogue where you can watch some ropy signals]).

After that, what's your aerial like? Also, are you using screened cables
