Humax update via WDN4OAK.EXE

I've downloaded update files for my Humax F1-Fox. Currently at loader
version H2.54. When I run wdn4oak.exe referencing file Qfe10210-NP.hdf I
get no further than "Waiting for Humax connection". I'm using 9-pin
connection cable together with a gender changer (since both ports are
male). All connections seem solid. Any ideas?

Yes.
You cannot use a normal 9 pin lead. You must use a 9 pin null modem lead-£4
from Maplins.

Thank you. I borrowed the cable so I'll get the right one for myself
instead. Someone else also sent me a helpful e-mail so I feel well
served. What nice chaps you are.
