TUTV and Sony IDTVs... still waiting for software upgrade

Sony said software upgrade for TUTV CAM would be broadcast 7th July (this
was 2 weeks AFTER I had been advised by their own so-called support dept that
mt TV was TOTV compatible and needed no further upgrade and AFTER I had gone
ahead and BOUGHT a CAM and card based on their advice... twats) - I was told
few days ago that the software upgrade now postponed til end of month...
possibly. What the f*** is going on?
Incidentally I have a KD32DX40 set.

Once again TUTV is passing the buck, as they do with advice about aerials
i.e. got to the Freeview site. Any decent company would have a support page
listing all compatible STB/TV's, and any hardware/software mods required to
achieve compatibility.
So go and complain to TUTV about their poor support, not Sony, the vast
majorty of whose DVB TV customers are only watching freeview without
problems.

FYI I finally have TUTV - the software upgrade was eventually broadcast on
8th August... was it worth the wait? - see my posting under "TUTV subs".
