If anyone is having problems with these units, I may be able to help, as I
have repaired several of them recently....

I have a PCM701 and a PCMF1 - was thinking of selling 'em and the Sony
F1 Beta transports. Anyone know what they might be worth?

And if anyone wants a quantity of Betamax L500 tapes for use with
Betamax machines, I have several hundred. These tapes are, of course,
no longer available but ideal for use with a Sony Betamax/PCM set up.

The L500 tapes have been used only a couple of times as they were used
as 501/701 digital masters for CD manufacture. The L500 tapes proved
vastly superior to the L750's as they did not stretch! Although the
stretch was perfectly OK for normal video use, it made them unsuitable
for PCM Use.
