I notice a few days ago that the BBC regions are no longer displayed on
the link toolbar at the top of the screen. You can get them but you
have to click "UK" first.

Is this general or just my PC?

Under "Home", I see England/NIreland/Scotland/Alba/Wales/Cymru + Local

Under "UK", I see the same with Guernsey/Jersey/IoM added to the list,
which is odd as none of those three are part of the UK.

In article <sbs0cd$61f$1...@dont-email.me>,
I still see the National Regions - as always

I will check cookies, I seem to being sent to bbc.com even when I type
bbc.co.uk

https://www.bbc.com/news

I deleted the cookies but as it connects to bbc.co.uk., it immediately
changes to bbc.com

whereas if I try to visit the .com I get bumped back to the .co.uk
(which is the behaviour I remember from the past) you've not got a VPN
left running, so it thinks you're in $forrin, have you?

That will be it!

Just remembered I was trying to look at site yesterday and set to USA!

I knew there must be some simple answer, just a matter of finding it.

Easy solution if you want to nose about where saints should not go is to
use Chrome or Edge as your default browser, and Opera when you want to
use a VPN as it has one built in.

I don't know what you mean. There are no BBC links at all on my PC.

Never liked Chrome perhaps partly because of the way Google keep pushing
it. I use Chrome for some things but mainly because I want to browsers
open doing different things so less confusing to use two different type
of browser.
