riders of all time. I personally think that Mark Loram should have been
rated higher.

I don't think either of them should have been in it to be honest. Sure Tom
Owen was a great second division rider but he never proved himself at the
highest level.

In all these polls it seems people usually say
who is their "best liked" rider of all time as opposed to "the best" rider
of all time.
Just for fun it may be amusing to put a Top Ten of who gave most
amusement/pleasure to you as a fan. Reckon it might be completely different
from a Top Ten best ever!

Only just found uk.sport.speedway, and now living in Ireland never see
Speedway Star, so was delighted to see your 100 List, and the memories
it brought back of raking the old Belle Vue track (had to be in the
ATC to get that job), and seeing Jack Parker with 499 votes, can I
give him a belated one to bring him up to 500, loved watching him
