As you all know I've never liked Fallon on a personal rather than
professional level, because of his antics in the days when involved with
the Ramsdens. Right from his early days to the Top Cees incident he was
part and parcel of the blatant defrauding of the betting public with the
way in which horses were not run on merit. The really sad part was when
the courts acquitted them over the Top Cees incident but then they
couldn't really come to any other conclusion because it was not
provable.
I know that there are a lot of trainers who do this but not in the same
blatant way that this combination did it. Not that it was entirely his
fault because as we all know jockeys have to do what their trainers tell
them to do otherwise they are out on their ear.
I will be interested to see what these personal reasons are (when and if
eventually they do get disclosed) and wonder if they involve Mrs Cecil
(the current one) who has been known to have upset several people at
Warren Place in the past with her dictatorial manner.
It all seems to have been a bit sudden and as the departure happens at
the end of the week must be something very serious.
I make a Mrs Cecil involvement odds on favourite but then again maybe he
hasn't been riding some of the horses on their own merit without telling
the guvner:-))))) but it couldn't be this as that would be something I
would consider to be a professional difference.

I heard on the Newmarket grapevine that alledgedly Mr Fallon was caught
in an uncompromising position with Mr's Cecil i.e. in the shower.

One of the tabloids reported last week that Natalie Cecil was screwing
an unnamed jockey. Looks like Keiren has been doing a "Norman
Williamson"....
It's a good opportunity for Richard Quinn, but what will happen to
Fallon? Riding Ian Balding's horses is hardly going to keep him on 200
winners per season. Maybe Aiden O'Brien will find some work for him.
Steve
He always was pretty good on fillies, I doubt whether he would have rode
her all the way to the line but probably kept something in hand.

For such shrewd trainers doesn't anyone else find it odd that a lot of
the Ramsdens' ex-horses seem to have improved 20lbs now they're in the
hands of other trainers...
Someone with a cynical mind might think they kept all their horses
consistently under-handicapped by a good stone and picked the races they
wanted to farm at their leisure.
Shame they buggered off to France and don't have to answer any awkward
questions really...

I really didn't know until just now that there were reports in a Sunday
paper last week that Mrs Cecil was in a shower with some top jockey.
If only I could be as perceptive and predictive with my betting
selections.

the Newmarket grapevine also informed me that he was alledgedly upto the
same tricks with Mrs R.

Fallon will end up with Stoute, Stevens will ride for a Californian trainer,
possibly riding The Thoroughbred Corp. horses.
Mike
How about we setup a Fantasy competition to match the Trainers wife
with the jockey? Could have some fun here! :-)
