Could anyone explain the basic rules of a Greensomes tournament to me please
as i will be taking part tomorrow (Sunday) morning.

1. can be matchplay or strokeplay
2. normally one team of two play another team of two.
3. each team plays one ball except from the tee where all 4 players tee
off. each side then decides which ball it is to play.
4. as this is a team game the offences of the pair are taken together.
5. obviously partners play alternately
6. either can sign scorecard on behalf of the team
