Played both this summer, and, boy, was it hot! now temperatures should be
much more tolerable.
There are kids selling ball on the course (prohibited), and they try to
cheat. Beware!
If you got a package, shuttles should be included. I don't know where you
will be staying, but taxis are absolutely affordable. Make sure the (insert
correct English word for the miles counting machine here) has been
activated, or you could face some surprises.
The two facilities (three courses total) are quite nice, locker rooms, bars,
and all. Credit cards accepted. Buggies available.
The courses are nice too, a bit hilly, in very good shape even in the summer
heat (except for some casual water due to irrigation).
BTW, the two clubs stand aside each other.
Hope it helps.

I also played there this October. Part of the course was closed
because of the very hot summer and some of the greens had been
damaged. We were due to play two rounds at El Kantoui (?) but the
condition of the course (the greens anyway) was poor. We refused to
play the second round.

However, the courses at Hammamet were enjoyable. Im a 15 handicapper
and found it all quite a challenge (which means I played rubbish!).
Taxis are definitely the easiest way to get around and although
variable, still very reasonably priced. If you are playing in the
summer a buggie would be essential but you must book in advance - we
didn't get one on two of our six days.
