I live near Wimbledon in South London. I'm sure I heard of a cricket
bookshop in the Epsom area. Anybody out there know of any such shops
near here ?
I suppose I could try the Net, but it's much more fun to trawl around a
shop.

Before you buy.
The one you are thinking of is likely to be J.W. McKenzie, 12,
Stoneleigh Park Road, Ewell. They are open regular business hours.

If you look on Cricinfo, you should find somewhere the list of cricket
booksellers - complete with addresses and phone numbers - that I sent
them a couple of years ago, cribbed from Wisden. There's also the Oval
Shop, which would only be a short trip for you. I'm not sure if it's
open out of season, but you should be able to find details on Surrey
CCC's Website at http://www.surreyccc.co.uk

Ah, memories. I played many times with John for the Hook & Southborough
Sunday 2nds. He may well love his cricket but he wasn't much good at playing
it. Hence playing in the same team as me.
If you do pop in to his shop, say hello from me and my dad.
Cheers,
Chris
