Having never been to Lords, does anybody have any thoughts as to where's the
best place to sit??

I've sat in most places at Lords apart from in front of the pavilion, and I like
the Mound stand best. But it is very much a matter of taste, there are probably
loads of people who hate the Mound.
The Compton and Edrich upper and lower stands are OK, but cold if it is cold,
and in the lower part, you can't see the big replay screen.
In the Mound, you have a good view, but again from most places the replay screen
is obscured. Where I sat for the World Cup final- right at the back- you also
can't see part of the field though, and the scoreboards are hard to see- the big
electronic scoreboard is right next to the Mound.
I think the new Grandstand would be worth trying though, that may be where I aim
to go next year. Both the scoreboard, and replay screen would be really clearly
visible from there, and the old restricted view seats are gone (there used to be
some seats at the bottom from where someone like Curtly Ambrose would only have
been visible from about the waist down).

Views are mine and not Logica's.
I'd go for Edrich Upper every time! (Although I think they might have
nicked my seat for the edge of that strange monstrosity). Someone
mentioned it can get cold up there. Make sure you have the sun block if
susceptible as it can also bake!
