Hi

If the woolly nylon you are looking for is the same stuff, I am
getting mine from Patternworks in the US.I have tried and tried and
tried to find somewhere over here that stocks it with no luck.
Their web site is at www.patternworks.com.My order should turn up
sometime this week hopefully.Their catalogue costs $6 airmail

There is only one company listed in Dun & Bradstock with that name:
Mettler-Toledo Ltd a subsidiary of Ciba-Geigy, but they seem to be in
the business of weighing and analytical machines.

Nevertheless they may be a linked company and worth a call, The
telephone number I have is 0116-2357070. Their address is 64 Boston
Road,Beaumont Leys, Leicester LE4 1AW.

It sounds familiar. Is woolly nylon the stuff you use on an overlocker
to do rolled hems? Is it a particular brand that you want to find or
just any wooly nylon?

I don't know about the Mettler make, but Empress Mills of Colne,
Lancashire, sell lots of woolly nylon thread, on small spools and on big
machine cones, too.

Found Mettler brand , Metroflock, small cones , in Bainbridges ,
Newcastle upon Tyne. Tel: 0191 2325000 ext. 4361 Haberdashery.

This is a John Lewis partnership store so there may be others in your
area.

There is a Yarn Market in Dunston, Gateshead that sell machine wool.

I'm on a mailing list of a UK company that sells a machine knitting wool
and accessories by mail order. Does anyone else know the company name?

I hope this helps
