Oy!

I resemble that remark! I'm 82, and I survived in the last 5 years:
Broken ankle, broken shoulder, two attacks of DVT, one accompanied by
pneumonia. Had CTScan recently and found I have a big heart (always
knew that).

I had one about ten years ago now; thankfully it didn't find anything
dodgy - but it did have to be done twice, as apparently I didn't keep
still enough the first time - I have always been a restless old

I'd never met Victoria Wood either, and now I never will.

I'm doing OK I suppose.
Feeling older than my years but that's what I get for living life fast

I was going to ask if anyone had been in contact with you. ;-)

I'm still active, within my limitations, dancing regularly, which in our
style of dancing is snuggling to music.

That Sinclair guy has been exposed for his fraudulent activities in the
US, some of which I sent to you as URLs, so he's a broken man now...

Great news. As you say, being active is the key.

My grandfather worked (salesmay) for one company for 70 years. When
they made him retire at 86, he was so pissed that he started his own
company and competed against them for the next five or six years.

There are some sales people who rise above their sometimes denigrated
livelihood, I have met one or two who were special.

My father died at the age of 60, two weeks before I got married.
All four directors from the Company he worked for attended his funeral.
I didn't want that honour!
I took early (enhanced) retirement at 58, and never regretted it.
