Fog, then sun, then cloud in Brussels - Rain, sleet and snow this evening

Brussels on Monday 6th December 2021
Fog at first but a hazy sun soon broke through as the visibility improved. Mist cleared by mid-morning and it was then sunny for the rest of the morning and over midday. Cloud moved in from the west after 13.00 local time, but it remained fairly bright through the afternoon.
Cold and wet after dark, with moderate rain setting in just before 18.00, turning to sleet after 20.00, and then wet snow soon afterwards. Overall thin covering of very wet snow in the garden at 21.00.
Still fairly cold - a touch of frost in the early morning, and falling temperature in the precipitation in the evening: only 0.6°C at Uccle at 21.00 local time. Light mainly SE wind in the morning freshened to moderate S during the afternoon, and backed SSE in the evening.
Brussels Uccle 5.2°C – overnight minimum 1.1°C – 3.2 mm rain
Brussels Airport 5.1°C – overnight minimum 0.7°C – 2 mm rain
