Not able to see data on this site for a bout a week - is anyone else
experiencing similar difficulties?

Yes James, same here. I am about to report it to the Met Office. I hope it
is just a glitch and not a 'policy' change.

Yes indeed - I found it a most informative and helpful tool. Perhaps the
Hadley server has temporarily lost the plot - if you'll pardon the pun.....

I have had this reply from the Met Office this afternoon.

'We are currently aware of this issue which stems from a server hardware
failure earlier last week. Our support teams are currently working on a fix
however we do not have a timescale for this at present. As an alternative,
you may find the NOAA website of use -
http://www.ospo.noaa.gov/Products/ocean/sst/anal_fields.html. Please be
advised we do not endorse any third party website or their individual
content.
I do hope this helps.'

Thanks Norman. I didn't have that one listed. Now bookmarked.

Huge thanks for expediting this Bernard. I hoped it was a h/w failure
rather than a policy decision.
