Dry with spells of warm sunshine was the forecast.........actual, cloudy and
damp!!

June did start quite sunny but even that's gone tits up again with just 12
hours in the last 8 days.

Highest max so far this year, 20.9c on 7th June and 7th May.

I'm sure Dawlish will be optimistic we will reach 21c sometime during this
Summer:)

Mean temperature for the month after 17 days is 0.8c BELOW average, so
unless it warms up soon it's looking like yet another below average month to
add to the last 5!!

It is beautiful up here in North Yorkshire at the moment. A bit hazy but
otherwise inside at 20.8C is cooler than outside at 22.5C presently.

I will be off to do some gardening outside later on today.

I am also optimistic that you will make 21C this summer, if not before
the end of this month, then in July.

Of course, you may live in Flash which being almost 500m asl would make
things a little more tricky, but even there I think 21C is on its way
in July, if only for a day or two.

You'll be pleased to know Graham that the forecast was for a cloudy week
down 'ere but that pessimism has not borne out and after a misty start
yesterday and today, the sun broke through for the afternoon and a warm
and humid 22°C on both days.

A not very impressive 23 hours for the last 8 days. Total for month now
at 141 hours.

A fine evening with unbroken sunshine.
