***Job Opportunities for Further Education practitioners***

Resource Discovery in the FE sector
-----------------------------------------------------------

The Institute for Learning and Research Technology (ILRT) at the University
of
Bristol is starting work on a project that we envisage will bring
significant
benefits to learners and teachers in the FE sector. The project aims to
support
the work of the Resource Discovery Network (RDN) in meeting its expanded
brief to serve FE's needs.

In connection with the project we are looking to recruit 24 high calibre FE
practitioners to author:

· a report recommending relevant RDN resources to the curriculum area
· a set of case studies on how Web based resources can be incorporated
into the FE curriculum

The work will be carried out on a freelance basis and we invite applications
from individuals or consortia with a high degree of expertise in their
vocational area.

We are confident that with the right input from the FE community, the
quality
and accessibility of resources on the Internet can be boosted; making a real
difference to lecturers and students in UK colleges.

Please go to the following Web page for further information, job description
and application form:
