Hi Folks,

Can anyone help, please?

I have an old B&L Criterion 4000 and I want to be able to link it to my
camera (simple astrophotography).

I already have the T-mount for the camera, but I need to be able to
attach this to the body of the Criterion. The old manual says I need
'The Cassegrain Focus Adaptor', which apparently is supplied as an
optional extra.

I originally got the scope in the mid 80s from Sherwoods of Birmingham,
UK, but they do not stock this accessory, not do they know anyone who
does.

So, the question is - where can I get one? If needs be, I don't mind
having it mailed out from the States, but obviously the UK would be more
convenient.

In addition, I understand there was an eyepiece projection tube. The
same query applies to this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh, BTW, I have a Meade 12" LX200 and the Meade system *almost* attaches
to the Criterion (The Criterion male is slightly smaller than the Meade
female. I suppose it's too much to hope than an adaptor exists.

Thanks in anticipation

Regards

Try this site: http://astroptx.com/

They bought out all of the B&L SCT telescope accessories and parts several
years ago and he has lots of stuff for sale at reasonable prices. I just
bought an original B&L Criterion polar axis finder and a piggyback bracket
for my B&L 6000 (I also have a 4000).
