Haumea - 2003 EL61
Haumea is a dwarf planet and a plutoid orbiting the sun in the Kuiper
belt. Haumea has a typical orbit for a classical Kuiper belt object,
with an orbital period of 283 Earth years, a perihelion of 35 AU, and
an orbital inclination of 28°.

Imaged on April 4th and April 5th 2009 using the 0.61m f/10 Cassegrain
at the Sierra Stars Observatory. 120 seconds unfiltered image, cut
down to 5 x 5 arc minutes. Haumea was at magnitude 17.3.
