feeling like treating myself - as you do.
Does anyone have any suggestions about where on line one could find
jewellery, clothes, etc. that are "I'm going to be nice to me" kinds of
things? I've looked at Wysteria (like, I LIKE much of that...) and I
know New Moon of old... (and I *do* wear black most of the time, and
long earrings are good and I'm trying to convince myself that I really
do need that dragon that covers the entire ear - young daughter is
always moaning cause I suggest clothes to her that other parents ban
their kids from even thinking about!). :}
Suggestions gratefully (nay, pitifully) received! :>

Be warned, though, IME they can be awfully slow with deliveries and
(judging by the comments in the newsletter) their suppliers are not
wonderfully reliable. They seem to be immensely good-hearted, but not
exactly the Mike Baldwins of the business world when it comes to

Oh, that's totally acceptable. All I wanted to do was remove
wallpaper from one room and apply paint instead. The entire house
looks as if it's been tarred and feathered, and I'm starting to
realise that even basic DIY is not really my forte *grin*.

There was a very, *very* nice black velvet coat on the 2H market
stall today - but I am not paying twenty quid for something which
will need another twenty to get it clean. Well, not unless it's still
there in two weeks and I can haggle :)

Not checked the new catalogue yet, none in the old one though, or at

Not me, but I know they've got a couple of quite nice statues in New Aeon,
and they did have some Bast lamps a while ago <dribbles>

And almost next door to New Aeon, Aflecks's Palace and the Colosseum,
both in the "old centre" of Manchester, have shops that are completely
full of shelves of statues of black cats with cobras on their chests and
hieroglyphics, of assorted sizes and prices.
